Slimchado Powerlifting Championships

 $20 Entry fee per person payable to Hector Rojas via zelle or venmo. Must RSVP and pay in advance.

Includes 2 Ghosts, 3 waters, use of salts, and chalk.

Fully refundable if cancel one week prior to the day of the meet. 

"Membership" into Slimchado record books and videos. 

The following items are allowed.

Up to 7 MM knee sleeves (excluding deadlift), gloves, belt, heel shoes, and wrist wraps. 

Must arrive at the meet 30 minutes before the start time to weigh in, check equipment, and review rules.

Must weigh in at the meet. A light shirt and shorts can be worn during weigh-ins. A one pound allowance will be given if keeping shirt and shorts. 

Squat

• Must hit depth close to parallel.

Bench Press

• Bar must touch chest. 

• Head, upper back, and butt must make contact with the bench at all times. 

Deadlift

• Must lock out at the top.

• Must put the bar back on the ground in a controlled manner. 

Three attempts allowed per lift. The weight of the next attempt must be equal to, or greater than the weight of the prior attempt. 

RAW, IPF, and BWA belts will be "awarded" to the winners of each category. 

Champion(s)

• Must pay a $150 deposit per belt(s) won prior to taking the belt(s) home. 

• Fully refundable if...

  1. Returns the belt(s) to Slimchado if the Champion cannot defend their title(s) at the next meet. 

  2. Loses the title(s) at the next meet and returns the belt(s) to crown the new Champion. 

• Not refundable if...

  1. Champion loses belt(s).

  2. A new Champion is crowned and the belt(s) is/are not present at the next meet. 

• No deposit necessary if leaving the belt at Slimchado.
